2026 Colloquium:   GRADUATE student Submissions

Paper submission Deadline:

1 NOVEMBER 2025

The Calvin Studies Society invites current and recent doctoral students to submit paper abstracts for a graduate student panel to be held at the next Calvin Studies Colloquium, March 19-21 2026 hosted by Beeson Divinity School and Birmingham Theological Seminary in Birmingham, AL. The theme of the Colloquium is “Calvin and Creation.” We invite proposals for papers reflecting current research by doctoral students or those awarded a Ph.D. in the past two years (2023-2025) on any topic related to Calvin and Calvinism. Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words and should state the main research question to be addressed in the paper. Presented papers should be approximately 8-10 minutes long, leaving ample time for questions and discussions after the presentations.

Please submit your proposal to Dr. Kyle Dieleman, Vice President of the Board of the Society via email (kyle.dieleman@dordt.edu). The Society will cover registration, provide two nights of housing, and $200 towards travel expenses for student presenters.
