The primary purpose of the Calvin Studies Society
is to engage in and promote the study of the thought, life, and
times of John Calvin. The Society also focuses on other figures
and subjects related to the Reformed movement of the sixteenth and
seventeenth centuries.
Membership in the Society is open to all persons
who pay the annual membership fee of $25.00 (US). Registration
at a
bi-annual Colloquium covers the membership fee for two years. The
membership fee also includes a copy of the Colloquium papers.
The
Society also publishes a newsletter
for members.
Although a majority of the members are from the United
States the Society includes members from Britain, Canada, Japan,
Korea, the Netherlands and several other European countries.
